Compliancy Services Ltd are a market leading regtech and compliance consultancy practice. We provide firms with financial services compliance support, advising them relative to their Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) regulatory obligations. We support our clients by, where relevant, helping them manage their regulatory application processes, and providing advice and assistance relative to ongoing compliance activities.This allows them to be more focussed on their direct business activities. Our clients operate in a variety of sectors including Banking, Capital Markets, Asset Management, Consumer Credit, Insurance and Payment Services.

THE ROLE

Compliancy Services prides itself on its ability to provide clients with a combination of regtech and consulting services with people who are passionate about supporting businesses with their regulatory obligations. We are currently recruiting for Project Support Consultants to become entry level advisors to our clients. You will learn and gain knowledge of financial regulation and how to apply the FCA and PRA regimes to different business models and sectors. In addition, you will gain knowledge of our propriety regtech products which support many of our clients and overtime, you will become the compliance partner that clients will trust and turn to.

WHAT WILL THE ROLE INVOLVE 

Based at our Head Office in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, you will be working within the Central Operations team, the ‘engine room’ of our business. You will gain early responsibility and exposure to financial regulation and its practical application, supporting clients to meet their regulatory obligations. You will be put through a comprehensive and structured on-boarding process coupled with thorough ‘hands-on’ and ‘on the job’ learning. You will be supported by internal technical experts who are renown subject matter experts within their field. Your role will be progressive and you could find yourself developing a technical or business sector specialism that will enable you to carve out your own career and drive your ambition to becoming an outstanding financial compliance expert. The role may over time involve travel, in conjunction with our Capital Markets and Payment Services Consultants, to our London based clients.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for candidates who ideally have some exposure to financial services and are eager to learn about financial regulation in particular. This must be demonstrated by either having gained some knowledge within your current role or as a student who has gained some knowledge of financial services within their academia.

  • An appreciation of, and an appetite to understand and learn about the UK financial regulatory environment
  • A natural flair in building relationships with a B2B context
  • A commitment to continued professional development and the desire to attain further qualifications such as those offered by the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment/the International Compliance Association. This could be achieved via an apprenticeship
  • A strong interest in financial services and, ideally, some experience or knowledge working within a financial services or a professional consulting practice and
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
