Over the years, we have gradually built our client base, market reputation and internal capability. In particular, our Consumer Credit division has grown to have a client base in excess of 500, presenting an enviable opportunity for an outstanding and dynamic established consulting manager to lead, enhance and grow this key area.

You will be an expert in the application of consumer credit and lending regulation. Your technical skills will be combined with robust business development, consulting and interpersonal skills with a 'can-do' approach and excellent client facing skills. Supporting the Managing Director in the delivery of the company’s values, promoting our quality agenda and delivering added value for clients, this role is truly exciting, driving and building this key consulting business area. Candidates are required to:

  • Maintain high levels of client relationships, establish their needs, provide advice and demonstrate the highest levels of technical expertise

  • Have strong commercial awareness and understanding of the B2B sales process, making appropriate proposals and leading the project team through to completion of those projects

  • Manage resourcing and client delivery on a day to day basis, ensuring delivery of the highest possible standards build and manage a small consultancy team

  • In depth understanding of relevant FCA regulations (e.g. CONC/MCOB/MCD/SYSC/APER etc.), and, most importantly, be able to interpret and apply them to clients’ businesses

  • P&L responsibility for a portfolio of clients, managing a substantial income base, resources and profitable growth

  • Maintain a strong awareness of the role of technology within regulation and able to identify key RegTech sectors

  • Have a degree or diploma, with at least five years’ experience operating at a management level working within financial services, with relevant client facing, consulting experience

  • Have outstanding levels of professionalism, integrity, interpersonal and time management skills and excellent communication and report writing skills
