WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are restructuring our Operations team, the ‘backbone’ of the company, in order to meet the growing needs of our clients and business. As part of this we are looking for a Head of Managed Services to further strengthen the team, provide strong leadership and drive forward the company’s strategic agenda. 

The Managed Services team consists of three key areas:  Client Services, Regulatory Transaction and Regulatory Support.  This role will be responsible for implementing the new structure, ensure effective delivery of client related work, manage and lead a competent compliance team and balance the requirements of internal and external stakeholders. The role involves working with a range of clients, and with a team that is truly passionate about financial regulation combining excellent client service, quality standards and delivering solutions for clients. You will be supporting clients from a range of businesses within financial services including the Capital Markets, Payment Services, Mortgages, Consumer Credit and Lending sectors.

THE ROLE

  • To support, lead and be fully accountable for the Managed Services Team through a period of transition and establishing a strong department which is the heart of the business

  • Oversee and support the team in a range of client FCA applications for authorisationVariations of Permission, Changes in Control and regulatory reporting

  • Develop, coach and mentor the team ensuring they maintain up to date financial regulation knowledge and supporting the growth of the team and associated succession planning

  • Represent the Managed Services team at ExCo meetings, building good working relationships with internal stakeholders and driving the business strategic agenda

  • Deliver progressive improvements in systems, processes and internal documentation through constant improvement, innovation and making use of key management information

  • Build, maintain and evolve service offerings to help us achieve profitable growth through identification of relevant client solutions and utilising our regtech capabilities
