Our Approach
We fully understand that for many companies the demands of Regulatory Compliance may seem daunting and act as an unwelcome distraction from the day to day running of their business. We understand this and ensure that our advice achieves the right balance. We don’t complicate legislation or attempt to make you ‘over-regulated’. But we do offer simple practical advice and solutions to minimise the risk of breaching the statutory regulations.
We also believe that Compliance can offer opportunities for improving a business that management would not have undertaken otherwise. For example, the FSA has a higher focus on standards for employee training and competence than many companies normally employ. However, when these standards are applied to commercial skills – like sales or product knowledge then there can be very strong commercial benefits to being compliant.
For this reason all our staff are expected to have a broad commercial skill set as well as a deep understanding of FSA compliance. it is critical to be able to apply the regulations commercially for maximum business benefit, and appropriately for the business we are dealing with.
