For example, the FSA has a higher focus on standards for employee training and competence than many companies normally employ. However, when these standards are applied to commercial skills – like sales or product knowledge then there can be very strong commercial benefits to being compliant.
For this reason all our staff are expected to have a broad commercial skill set as well as a deep understanding of FSA compliance. it is critical to be able to apply the regulations commercially for maximum business benefit, and appropriately for the business we are dealing with.
