TCF

Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) is the FSA's pet project of the last few years, and it seems the next few.

 

Quite simply all firms must be able to demonstrate that they are treating their customers fairly and some very specific steps need to be taken.  Related to this is having a clear TCF policy showing how the six outcomes are achieved, appropriate management information, training and assessment regimes and other steps.

 

The FSA are carrying our large number of supervisory visits to firms right now. It constantly surprises us how many firms are yet to implement TCF fully.
