Increased FSA Assessments of Small Firms
The FSA has stepped up its supervisory activity of small firms dramatically, with increasing numbers facing enforcement action. Being small - unfortunately - does not negate the requirement to Comply with the regulations. The FSA have dedicated teams to supervise small firms and these are systematically carrying out structured reviews of small firms across the industry. So many firms will be affected - and may be required to attend road shows, vary out interviews or receive FSA auditors on site.
