Job Role: Client Project Director - consumer credit
Compliancy Services are a successful and growing regulatory consultancy with >500 consumer credit clients and an established client base in other financial service sectors, innovative bespoke systems and an established head office support base.
As part of our ongoing growth strategy we are recruiting a department head for our Consumer Credit consultancy business. As such, you will be a key player in increasing Compliancy Services’ market position within the consumer credit sector, achieving financial growth through project sales to new and existing clients.
You will be an expert in the application of consumer credit and lending regulation. Your technical skills will be combined with robust consulting and interpersonal skills, a can-do approach and excellent client facing skills.
This role is truly a dynamic one with the ability to influence this sector at a senior and strategic level, driving and building this key consulting business area.
Applicants must have:
a degree or diploma, with at least five years’ experience operating at a management level working within financial services, with relevant client facing, consulting experience.
strong commercial awareness and understanding of the B2B sales process
in depth understanding of relevant FCA regulations (e.g. CONC/MCOB/MCD/SYSC/APER etc.), and, most importantly to be able to interpret and apply them to client businesses
Outstanding levels of professionalism, integrity, interpersonal and time management skills and excellent communication and report writing skills.

Have outstanding levels of professionalism and interpersonal, documentation and time-management skills
Have a suitable professional qualification (e.g. law, accountancy, MBA, RDR or equivalent)
Have a strong knowledge of key legislation (e.g. FSMA, RAO, MIFID, IMD, AIFMD, PSD, EMD) and the relevant sections of the FCA handbook (e.g. COBS, SYSC, FIT, PRU, SUP) and know how to apply them to different business models and situations
Have the capacity and desire to learn and apply new regulations as they appear
May well be an existing CF10/11 looking to move their career to the next stage
